![]() We all know traxxas was the one who made that commercially available. Be honest and they might even send it free! (If that's the problem, of course)īy the way, I love to see how many other brands, instead of adding their own electric start systems as a simple but great new feature, they vigorously show it off and tell you "new innovative electric start, first company to do that!". ![]() If it glows bright but the plug led doesn't light up call traxxas to have the ez start "wand" (the handheld part) replaced. If the plug glows dim (just a little bit of red and not bright orange-yellow) or doesn't glow at all your plug is bad. The plug led should light up if your plug begins to glow literally red-hot. Take the plug out, disconecct the fuel line from the carburator and the pressure line from the exhaust pipe (so you don't spray fuel everywhere), then attach the plug cable to the plug and press the threaded part of the plug into the silver colored parts of the engine heatsink, now fire the ez start. Once it was I managed to destroy the wire (too much squirted fuel ). Everytime the glowplug led failed to light up in my ez-start either the glowplug was bad or not properly plugged in. Ok thanks guys, i sorted it out, buuut, there is another problem, i dont know if its my glow plug or something else, but when i plug in the EZ Start System to start the engine, the motor is fine, and moves the piston, but it doesnt ignite, i mean, it doesnt start, on the EZ Start there are 2 LEDs, one for the motor and the other one for the glow plug, the only LED that lights is the Motor LED, the glow plug light doesnt light, is my glow plug bad?, or its my EZ Start?
